The first was a wildly marked appaloosa pattern painted on a Breyer Stablemate Dressage Horse. Like any horse I paint, I knew the horse had to be appy colored and I chose a loud leopard to put on that piece. Starting with a bay base coat, I later let the spotting develop all on its own as I laid in the white leaving the spots behind as I went.
I also chose a few organizations local to me to assist. Three organizations were gifted some funds. The first really owns my heart: The Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter (https://www.branford-ct.gov/departments/animal-shelter) has been awesome helping animals in need - no animal is turned away no matter what species. My Freddie came from there too.
